Julia Fisher was everything to me. I loved her and would have done anything for her. But the night she walked out of my life, after deciding I wasn't good enough for her, I got out of town as fast as I could.
After six years, I'm coming home.
Now I am going to make it my mission to rub everything she gave up in her face. No matter how much I still love her, I need to bury it deep inside me because she chose him.
Brian Evans broke my heart—shattered every piece of my soul when he left. He decided that I wasn't worth the wait.
Now he's back in town.
He is a constant reminder of the pain that I endured at his hands. I won’t let him break me again.
A lot can happen in six years. People move on, fall in love again, and forget about the pain from the past. Seeing his face, hearing his voice, brings me back to a time when things were simple and love was enough for us.
I can't let him know that a part of me still loves him.
Now that they are brought face to face again, will they destroy each once more or will they discover that things aren't always what they seem? Are some bonds unbreakable? Are some people worth losing everything you have?

I really
loved this story. It really hit home
with a past flame. If you had the choice
to do it over with someone you loved, would you? Would you have done everything in your power
to make sure you followed your heart?
Julia is completely shattered by Brian’s decision to not wait for
her. But is the truth too hard to bear? The truth isn’t always what it seems. There are always two sides to every
story. Was Brian just as hurt as Julia
or were things better off the way they turned out? After seeing Brian every day since he has
decided to come home, Julia feels like he is throwing up the past in her
face. Is Brian trying to torment Julia
or win her back?
What
decisions would you make to protect the one you love? Would you be able to live with those
decisions if you were the only one that knew?
Or could you live a life based on lies to have everything you ever
wanted?
At first, I wasn’t
sure what I wanted to happen as far as Julia & Brian. Their love was so precious, it’s definitely a
once in a lifetime chance to be given a second chance at true love. But will they be able to cherish what they
had the first time or shatter each other for the final time? Remember Mr. Nice Guy isn’t always so
nice. Who would you pick, the bad boy
that your heart wants or the rich boy that mommy and daddy want you to have?
I really
enjoyed this story because of the story that it tells. I just was really thrown for a loop to find
out the real truth about Julia and Brian.
Never assume you know the truth, ask the original source. You will know who is telling the truth. You won’t believe what happens in this
story. It’s a must read. I am giving it 4 stars!!
