I've been picking them. I've been reading them.
Just not posting, so I've got a few coming if I can stay on track.
Here we go.
Love in the Mist (MacKay's #1) by S.R. Roddy
Dreams are said to be our subconscious thoughts and desires. What then does it mean to dream of someone from another time? Tasha questioned her own sanity, who falls in love in a dream? Then one fate filled night a mysterious man steps out of the mist boldly walking into her world. Will she be brave enough to follow the path fate has set her on or falter at the threshold?
Okay, this caught my attention from the beginning. I was intrigued and interested, which was strange because time travel is not my thing. Even despite editing issues, I was into it. But then, it got a little weird. I understand they are from different times and the times are very far apart, but... they are RELATED. Or I completely missed a pivotal part of the story that would've fixed that aspect. And um... he was rather rough with her... and it ended abruptly.
I went from being really into it to cringing. It just left me confused.
Married with five children, three cats and one very large dog S.R. Roddy lives happily in a small town north of Austin, Tx. She is an ordinary housewife who spends most of her day homeschooling her two remaining teenage children.
From a young age she discovered a deep love for books that has encouraged her vivid imagination and touched her romantic spirit. With the help and support of her family she spends her spare time writing with the desire to share her creativity with other readers like herself.
An avid reader, she will read any genre if she's drawn to the story line. She enjoys a good mystery, but her true love is romance. It doesn't have to be a HEA for her to enjoy it; at times she even prefers it not to be. Historical and paranormal romances have become her favorite over the years, each satisfying a need inside her to experience a new world and adventure.
