MY REVIEW (5 STARS):
I was given an ARC of Lupo for an honest review.
Lupo's story picks up where it left off in the Lonely Wolf, after he is sentenced to serve prison time for his role in the accidental death of his soulmate, Jasmine. Lupo spends his time in prison trying to cope with Jasmine's death and trying to survive other prisoners & corrupt guards trying to make his prison sentence a miserable one. At one point, he has to fight for his life and soon has to figure out the mystery of who wants him to suffer.
The way Lupo's story ended in The Lonely Wolf (The Immortals book 7) just left me wanting more and I was so happy that there was more to his story. And I was greatly surprised by the ending! Even in the beginning while Lupo is in prison, the story kept moving and it sucked me in. As with her other books, Monica LaPorta does a wonderful job of creating the scenes in the book. From the drab prison to the beautiful streets of Italy, I was once again transported into the story through the author's descriptions. Another great read from this author.
