Joan Duszynski lives in Virginia with her husband and their three kids. Woods surround her home and she loves the privacy and quiet it brings. She wasn’t always a reader, so that moment when she picked up a book and found herself engrossed in its pages and unable to put it down will never be forgotten. It eventually led her to want to try and write and share stories of her own, in hopes that others will find themselves reading and getting lost inside of them. In The Stars (In The Moments #1)
Caroline Reyes is starting her second year of college nothing like the first. Following a car accident over the summer with her best friend Raleigh she is now stuck with a bitch for a roommate as Raleigh recovers at home.
One Saturday morning starts off with a bang, literally at Caroline's door and leads to her needing to comfort a very distraught stranger. This brings Caroline into her first run in with Eric. She feels completely lust driven at just the sight of him, even though his words just piss her off. She can't shake the sensations running thru her though even after their brief meeting is over. Then comes Kyle and he is determined to get to know Caroline better and she feels the same way dismissing her earlier run in as just crazy hormones.
Now she is left with decisions having to be made and knowing someone is going to get hurt in the process. That someone could be her alone.
Caroline has always looked into the stars for comfort and reassurance since she was a little girl with her Daddy. Now she is looking up into them praying for the right answers and hoping they can help her along with her Daddy who is amongst them now.
As I am walking out the door, one more important thing crosses my mind—condoms. I am on the pill, but I always use condoms. Since I haven’t been with any one in six months, I am currently out. I can’t believe I was so close to having sex with Kyle on Thursday, and I didn’t even think about them. He most likely has some, but why chance it. I am going to have to make a stop at the drug store on the way to his house.
Once I am about half way to Kyle’s place, I pull into a drug store lot. I am standing in the aisle, reaching out to grab a box of condoms from the hook, when I hear his voice. It is coming from directly behind me, and the deepness of it gives me chill bumps up and down my arms.
“Out taking care of some shopping are we, Caroline?” I have now dropped the box onto the floor. I can feel the heat running through my body from Eric’s closeness to me, yet my arms are still covered in chill bumps. I turn to face him, and he reaches down, picking up my little black and gold box, and handing it over to me.
I reach out with shaky hands and take the box from him. I can’t seem to form any words at the moment either. My eyes roam, taking in the full sight of Eric. He is even more delicious than I remembered. Those emerald eyes that are looking right at me have starred in many of my dreams over the past week. I notice he is in black slacks and a button up shirt with his sleeves partially rolled up. He also has his gun, cuffs, and badge hooked to his belt. Eric raises up one of his eyebrows and looks down toward my arms. “Are you cold, Caroline? You are covered in chill bumps. Maybe you should be wearing a coat; although it would be a shame to cover that top you have on.”
How embarrassing is this moment? I shake my head and finally find my voice. “I just came in for a quick purchase, then I’m headed right back out to my car. I didn’t want to have to bother with a coat. What are you doing here, anyway?”
He steps a little closer, then takes the box from my hand, looking it over. He then gives me a quizzical look. “I guess it is good to know you are being safe, Caroline. Are you sure these are the kind you will be needing, though? They do come in different size needs. I wouldn’t want you taking any chances embarrassing the boy if these don’t fit right.”
In The Now (In The Moments #2)
When the heartache of what Tara Wright believed was her love and life plan with her high school sweetheart follows her into a new year. Tara begins to rely on the three new and beautiful friendships that came compellingly into her life.
Caroline, easily becoming the perfect best friend for Tara. Thru Caroline she receives the encouragingly, witty Raleigh as a new found friend as well. Meeting Adam at a time where she needs to rediscover herself has her scared and confused. Every moment spent with him has her head swirling and her stubborn walls weakening.
Adam is the man that can make her laugh, give her support, and make her heart skip a beat every time he comes into view. He's everything Tara needs to make her way back out of her stubborn shell of fear she's closed herself into.
Finally starting to spend more time together and watching Adam in his realm of adrenaline induced racing at the Motocross has Tara's weakening walls finally crumbling to the ground and singeing in the heat Adam brings to her.
Has it all just been a crazy ride to recognize true love? Can Adam fix Tara's broken heart and make her believe that their love is In The Now?
We step out and Adam glides a little way down the drive as I walk beside him. He comes to a stop, plants one foot on the ground firmly, and uses his other foot to kick start his bike. He revs the throttle back a few times and looks over at me with complete excitement in his eyes as he kicks the start back into place. He nods his head back over his shoulder. “Hop on behind me and wrap your arms around my waist. You’re going to want to scoot close up against me and hold on tight, but not so tight that I can’t move freely.”
I step up beside him and he reaches out his hand for me to take hold as I throw my leg up and over the seat. I scoot forward enough that my center is pressed tightly up against his rear end, and wrap my arms around his waist. Even if we didn’t move any further than this position right here, I would be a very happy girl.
Adam lets out a laugh. “Even though I’m really enjoying you being this close, you might need to scoot yourself back just a bit so you can actually lean and move with me. Having you’re coochie pressed against my body has crossed my mind, but it might have to wait until later. Right now, you’re just going to manage pushing me forward.”
My cheeks feel like they are on fire and my mouth drops open. I release my arms from around Adam’s waist and scoot back on the seat. “Did you just call my woman parts a coochie, and should I even ask about the wait until later comment?” I’m not going to tell him right now, but with that one simple sentence Adam has gotten me very worked up, in a very good way.
Adam looks back over his shoulder and I can tell he’s smiling by the look in his eyes. “Well, I wasn’t sure what type of girl you were as far as vagina terminology goes? Coochie seemed like a safe word, but I have many options you can choose from that you might prefer. There is always the common pussy and cunt terms, then there are the more original ones like; cockpit, mud flaps, love tunnel, bone cave, meat massager, theme park, dick mitten….”
I start shaking my head back and forth. “Ok, Ok, I got it. Coochie will do for now, I guess, and I will give it some more thought later as to a term I more prefer. I don’t think we need to keep talking about this right now if you plan on actually showing me why I should be your biggest fan and you my favorite rider out at the races. This is just a big distraction instead.”
Adam reaches back and places his hand on my knee. “Maybe it’s a major part of making you my biggest fan as well as showing you that I’m meant to be your favorite rider. It can wait, though. Hold on and we can head on out toward the field.”
I grab back hold of Adam and keep my coochie slid back further on the seat this time. “That might be a very strong incentive, Adam, for us both. I agree. Oh and you forgot to mention; purple people penis eater, honey pot, poody tat, stop-n-pop….”
Adam releases my leg and grabs back hold of the handle. “Ok, you’re right; we will continue this conversation later on.”
In The Fairytale (In The Moments #3)
In Every fairytale there's anger, hurt, and love. For Raleigh Jefferson her fairytale is no different.
Since she was a little girl, watching Snow White meet her prince as she frolicked through the forest, the idea of Happily Ever After was embedded in Raleigh's mind. Her heart skipped a beat over the Beast's love of Belle, and she knew she'd swim the ocean to save her black haired prince from drowning, even without a mermaid tail. Destiny and forever. She wouldn't settle for anything less.
She wasn't looking for a man to frolic in the forest for her. If she were to actually witness such a thing she'd probably smack the man for acting a fool. But she did want her own Cinderella story. She wanted to glide down the aisle in her own glass slippers toward the man she loved, the one who returned that love unconditionally.
She never knew how hard this dream of hers would be until she met Him. Will the truth of the world around her and the pain that can be carried in someone's heart be too much to handle, or can Raleigh find a way to truly live... In The Fairytale?
I shake my head back and forth. “I find nothing about Princess stories odd but it isn’t every day you see something to do with them on a man. Anyway, who said I’d had the keychain since I was a kid? My last trip to Disney was only two years ago. Don’t laugh ok. I happen to be very much into the whole concept of meeting my Prince one day. The man that was destined for me type of thing. The life of a Princess with her Prince. I can’t believe I’m actually telling you this.”
“So you’re looking to be royalty one day? I can’t really help you with that but I can help when it comes to meeting a Prince.”
I take a right where he instructed and quickly glance over at him to see if he’s trying to poke fun at me again or not. He looks genuine though as he smiles and points at a small concrete drive that leads to a single black garage door. I turn in and put the car in park. I twist in my seat slightly looking right at him. “So, not that you yourself are him, but you want to help me to meet my Prince, ‘so say’?”
“Oh it’s me I’m talking about alright. Now I didn’t say I could help you with your Prince, just a Prince.” He reaches out his hand for a hand shake so I just play along confused as can be and roll my eyes as I shake his hand. “Hi Raleigh, I’m Christian Prince...”
